Former JLL Apac CEO Anthony Couse joins Elevate Capital as partner

Elevate Capital Group has really announced the appointment of Anthony Couse as an affiliate. According to a Sept 8 press release, Couse, the previous chief executive officer for Asia Pacific (Apac) at JLL, are going to work with Elevate builder and regulating partner Ashish Manchharam to “accelerate the firm’s development, with a focus on scaling investor partnerships, expanding purchases, and improving asset supervision strategies”.

In August 2024, Elevate obtained Stamford Court, a commercial building on Hill Street in the Downtown Core, in a joint project with PGIM Real Estate for $132 million. Repositioning and asset enhancement works are currently being accomplished at the property development, which is targeted to reopen in the first part of 2026.

Couse spent around 35 years at JLL. His previous function at the company was as Apac CEO, a spot he carried between 2016 and January 2025. Before that, he was supervising director for Eastern China and Shanghai for throughout a decade, and likewise spent 12 years at JLL’s Hong Kong workplace.
